Iconthin Biotech successfully concluded our participation at the 2026 China International Natural Health & Nutrition Expo (NHNE), held in Shanghai from May 21 to 23. NHNE is recognized as one of Asia’s leading trade exhibitions for the nutrition, wellness, and health supplement industries, bringing together global brands, distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals to explore innovation and collaboration across the sector.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, we primarily showcased Astadaily®, our premium Canadian astaxanthin wellness brand developed through years of microalgae biotechnology research and innovation. Visitors showed strong interest in Astadaily’s science-backed formulations, premium blister-pack packaging, and naturally sourced astaxanthin derived from microalgae.
Industry professionals and consumers alike highlighted the growing demand for research-driven wellness solutions that combine high-quality ingredients, advanced formulation expertise, and elevated product experience. Particular interest was generated around Astadaily’s focus on modern wellness concerns such as eye health, skin wellness, healthy ageing, and recovery from screen-related lifestyle stress.
During the event, we were honoured to welcome Tracy Diehl from the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai. Her visit reflected the increasing recognition of Canadian innovation in the health and wellness industry and the expanding opportunities for collaboration between Canada and China in natural health and nutrition.
NHNE 2026 also provided an important platform for Iconthin Biotech to showcase our vertically integrated microalgae biotechnology capabilities, including indoor cultivation technology and solvent-free supercritical CO2 extraction processes used in the development of our astaxanthin products.
